April 5, 2024: Arlington, TX 76016 The Martin Warriors baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Sam Houston Texans to 0 in the Warriors league victory on Friday.
The Warriors (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Gophers go into the 6A Region I District 8 outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Grand Prairie was overwhelmed by Lamar (Arlington, TX), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next, the Texans confront the Haltom Buffalos (Haltom City, TX) in a 6A Region I District 8 outing, on Tuesday, April 9. Sam Houston will attempt to advance on its 5-18 season record. The Buffalos go into the outing with a 6-14 record after their 16-4 non-league loss to Richland (North Richland Hills, TX).
