April 5, 2024: Haynesville, LA 71038 In Friday's non-league contest, the Gibsland-Coleman Bulldogs (Gibsland, LA) softball team overwhelmed the host Haynesville Golden Tornado (Haynesville, LA), by a margin of 12-4.
With the triumph, Gibsland-Coleman moves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Claiborne Christian (West Monroe, LA) to play the Crusaders in a C District 1 contest on Tuesday, April 9. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 10-11. Claiborne Christian won 11-6 in their recent non-league contest against Ouachita Parish (Monroe, LA)
In their next game, the Golden Tornado play the Doyline Panthers (Doyline, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, April 8. Haynesville will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 18-17 non-league win over Byrd (Shreveport, LA).
