Mississippi High School Softball - Wayne County topped by D'Iberville
April 5, 2025: D'Iberville, MS 39532 D'Iberville Warriors (D'Iberville, MS) backers left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Wayne County War Eagles (Waynesboro, MS), 10-1 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, D'Iberville upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Warriors travel to Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS) to play the Red Rebels in a 7A Region 4 game on Tuesday, April 8. The Red Rebels enter the game with a record of 10-13. Harrison Central lost 8-4 in their recent non-league game against West Harrison (Gulfport, MS)
The War Eagles now own a 6-16 record. They play next when they host Vancleave for a 5A Region 4 game on Tuesday, April 8. Wayne County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 league loss to East Central (Moss Point, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-15.
