The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Van Vandals (Van, TX) and the host Canton Eagles (Canton, TX), observed Van's softball team get by Canton by a tally of 4-3.

The Vandals (19-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles go into the 4A Region II District 15 bout with a 16-7 record. In their last bout, Lindale tipped Mabank (Mabank, TX), 11-1, in a league bout.
