The Castor Tigers softball squad (Castor, LA), was edged 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Minden Crimson Tide (Minden, LA)

With the triumph, Minden advances its record to 12-17 on the campaign. The Crimson Tide host Junction City (Junction City, AR) to clash with the Dragons in a non-league test on Thursday, April 10. The Dragons go into the test with a record of 5-9. Junction City won 9-7 in their recent league test against Magnet Cove (Malvern, AR)

The Tigers (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Lakeview (Campti, LA). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 2-13 record.
