Texas High School Softball - Elkhart bounces Mexia
April 8, 2025: Elkhart, TX 75839 In Tuesday's league match, the host Elkhart Elks softball team scored a nice 13-2 win over the Mexia Black Cats.
The Elks (15-5) will now prepare for their match against Fairfield (Fairfield, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region III District 20 match with a 11-2 record. In their last match, Fairfield notched a victory over Buffalo (Buffalo, TX), 6-3, in a league match.
In their next game, the Black Cats battle the Groesbeck Goats (Groesbeck, TX) in a 3A Region III District 20 match, on Friday, April 11. Mexia will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Goats come into the match with a 4-11 record after their 13-3 league loss to Elkhart (Elkhart, TX).
