Texas High School Softball - Canyon bounces Pieper
April 9, 2024: San Antonio, TX 78620 Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX), 19-0 in a league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 12. Canyon will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 23-6.
With the loss, Pieper moves to 7-24 on the season. The Warriors travel to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX) to meet the Chargers in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Friday, April 12. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 10-11. Boerne-Champion won 18-9 in their recent league match against Tivy (Kerrville, TX)
