April 9, 2025: St. Louis, MO 63118 In Wednesday's non-league bout, the East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Roosevelt Roughriders (St. Louis, MO), by a tally of 16-0.
Next up, the Flyers encounter the Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) in a Southwestern bout, on Thursday, April 10. East St. Louis will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Redbirds enter the bout with a 9-2 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Gillespie (Gillespie, IL).
The Roughriders (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Maplewood-Richmond Heights (Maplewood, MO). The Blue Devils enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Maplewood-Richmond Heights overcame Hancock (St. Louis, MO), 15-5, in a non-league bout.
