The Lake Norman Charter Knights baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans to 1 in the Knights league win on Thursday.

The Knights now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 15. Lake Norman Charter will play a Vikings team coming off a 8-1 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 5-12.

With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus drops to 4-14 on the year. The Trojans host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a South Piedmont 3A test on Tuesday, April 15. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 16-3.
