The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Terre Haute North Vigo Patriots (Terre Haute, IN) and the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), observed Terre Haute North Vigo's softball team get by Decatur Central by a tally of 10-6.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Paris (Paris, IL). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Paris tipped Martinsville (Martinsville, IL), 18-6, in a non-league bout.
