Fans at Friday's league battle between the Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC) and the visiting Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), saw Pickens's soccer squad prevail over Blue Ridge by a count of 5-1.

The Blue Flame (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Berea (Greenville, SC). The Bulldogs enter the AAAA Region 2 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Berea tipped Blue Ridge (Greer, SC), 3-0, in a league battle.
