The Lincoln Northwest Falcons baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Crete Cardinals to 8 in the Falcons league win on Friday.

The Falcons now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Elkhorn for a test on Monday, April 21.

With the defeat, Crete drops to 2-3 on the year. The Cardinals host Central City/Centura (Central City, NE) to clash with the Kernels in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 15. The Kernels go into the test with a record of 4-2. Central City/Centura lost 9-1 in their recent non-league test against Kearney (Kearney, NE)
