Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Pickens Blue Flame (Pickens, SC), 16-5 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Liberty moves its record to 8-8 on the season. The Red Devils host High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC) to battle the Grizzlies in a 2A Region 1 match on Tuesday, April 15. The Grizzlies come into the match with a record of 2-6. High Point Academy lost 11-0 in their recent league match against Brashier Middle College Charter (Simpsonville, SC)

The Blue Flame now possess a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenville Hurricanes for a non-league match on Monday, April 14. Pickens will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Greater Gwinnett Christian (Johns Creek, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 10-8.
