Illinois High School Softball - Warren Township bounces Marengo
April 13, 2024: Marengo, IL 60152 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Warren Township Blue Devils (Gurnee, IL) and the host Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL), witnessed Warren Township's softball squad tip Marengo by a count of 9-3.
The Blue Devils now sport a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Oswego East for a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. Warren Township will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Marengo moves to 7-3 on the season. The Indians host Riverdale (Port Byron, IL) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Saturday, April 13. The Rams go into the match with a record of 7-10. Riverdale lost 8-6 in their recent league match against Morrison (Morrison, IL)
