Mississippi High School Softball - West Lauderdale gets by Newton County
April 13, 2024: Decatur, MS 39327 The West Lauderdale Knights (Collinsville, MS) softball nipped the host Newton County Cougars (Decatur, MS), 6-5 in Saturday's league bout.
The Knights (23-2) will now prepare for their bout against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 12-7 record. In their last bout, Enterprise was edged by Lake (Lake, MS), 4-2, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now possess a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Southeast Lauderdale for a non-league bout on Monday, April 15.
