The Helix Highlanders lacrosse squad (La Mesa, CA), was overwhelmed 14-8 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA)

Coming up next, the Broncos meet the Mt. Carmel Sundevils (San Diego, CA) in a Palomar outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Rancho Bernardo will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Sundevils go into the outing with a 10-2 record after their 20-9 non-league loss to Poway (Poway, CA).

With the defeat, Helix drops to 2-10 on the season. The Highlanders host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to battle the Foothillers in a Grossmont contest on Monday, April 17. The Foothillers enter the contest with a record of 4-6.
