Wisconsin High School Softball - Spring Valley nudges Colfax
April 14, 2023: Spring Valley, WI 54767 Spring Valley Cardinals (Spring Valley, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Colfax Vikings (Colfax, WI), 12-11 in a league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pepin/Alma for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. Spring Valley will battle a squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Whitehall (Whitehall, WI). The record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Colfax falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host Elk Mound (Elk Mound, WI) to battle the Mounders in a Dunn - St. Croix challenge on Monday, April 17. The Mounders enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Elk Mound won 6-1 in their recent league challenge against Glenwood City (Glenwood City, WI)
