In Monday's non-league game, the host Faith Lutheran Crusaders baseball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Salpointe Catholic Lancers.

The Crusaders (12-11) will now prepare for their game against Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Gaels go into the non-league game with a 13-8 record. In their last game, Bishop Gorman nudged Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
