Missouri High School Soccer - Valley Park toppled by DeSoto
April 14, 2025: DeSoto, MO 63020 DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Valley Park Hawks (Valley Park, MO), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, DeSoto moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Sikeston (Sikeston, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Class 3 District 1 test on Thursday, April 17. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-4. Sikeston lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Central (Cape Girardeau, MO)
The Hawks now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wright City for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 16. Valley Park will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Elsberry (Elsberry, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
