Washington, DC High School Lacrosse - Langley overwhelms Sidwell Friends
April 15, 2023: Washington, DC 20016 The Langley Saxons triumphed over the host Sidwell Friends Quakers lacrosse team by a score of 14-6 in Saturday's non-league match.
With the win, Langley upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Saxons travel to Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA) to play the Generals in a Liberty match on Tuesday, April 18. The Generals go into the match with a record of 4-3. Washington-Liberty lost 16-7 in their recent league match against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
With the defeat, Sidwell Friends drops to 4-4 on the season. The Quakers host St. James (Hagerstown, MD) to play the Saints in a match on Wednesday, April 19. The Saints go into the match with a record of 8-3. St. James won 16-4 in their recent non-league match against Catoctin (Thurmont, MD)
