Texas High School Softball - Saltillo bounces Sulphur Bluff
April 15, 2024: Sulphur Bluff, TX 75481 Saltillo Lions (Saltillo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Sulphur Bluff Bears (Sulphur Bluff, TX), 18-3 in a league challenge.
The Lions now own a 2-11 record.
With the loss, Sulphur Bluff falls to 2-16 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Alba-Golden (Alba, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 2A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 17-4. Alba-Golden won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX)
