In Tuesday's league match, the host Madonna Blue Dons softball team scored a nice 12-3 victory over the St. Clairsville Red Devils.

The Blue Dons (13-1) will now prepare for their match against Trinity Christian (Morgantown, WV). The Warriors go into the Mason-Dixon match with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Trinity Christian gained a win over Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV), 17-4, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH) in a Buckeye 8 match, on Wednesday, April 16. St. Clairsville will attempt to better on its 1-10 season record. The Big Reds go into the match with a 6-4 record after their 7-2 league loss to Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH).
