South Carolina High School Softball - Lewisville can't get by Buford
April 16, 2025: Lancaster, SC 29720 The Buford Yellow Jackets edged the visiting Lewisville Lions softball squad by a count of 3-2 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellow Jackets meet the Andrew Jackson Volunteers (Kershaw, SC) in a challenge, on Friday, April 18. Buford will attempt to upgrade on its 14-1 season record. The Volunteers enter the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Saluda (Saluda, SC).
The Lions (15-4) will now prepare for their game against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, Austintown-Fitch nudged Canfield (Canfield, OH), 20-15, in a league game.
