New York High School Softball - Greenwich bounces Schuylerville
April 16, 2025: Schuylerville, NY 12871 The Greenwich Witches softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Schuylerville Horses to 5 in the Witches non-league win on Wednesday.
The Witches now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Emma Willard for a Section 2 Wasaren battle on Monday, April 21. Greenwich will confront a Jesters team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Jesters record now stands at 0-5.
With the loss, Schuylerville moves to 2-5 on the season. The Horses host Amsterdam (Amsterdam, NY) to confront the Rams in a Section 2 Foothills battle on Wednesday, April 23. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 0-5.
