The Hudson Hornets baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Center Roughriders to 1 in the Hornets league win on Thursday.

The Hornets now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host Bullard for a 4A Region III District 17 game on Tuesday, April 22. Hudson will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Palestine (Palestine, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 21-7.

Next, the Roughriders play the Rusk Eagles (Rusk, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 25. Center will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 12-11 record after their 9-8 league win over Madisonville (Madisonville, TX).
