Tarboro Vikings (Tarboro, NC) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC), 6-5 in a league match.

With the triumph, Tarboro advances its record to 11-6 on the season. The Vikings travel to Hobgood Charter (Hobgood, NC) to battle the Raiders in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 23. The Raiders come into the match with a record of 8-4. Hobgood Charter won 18-1 in their recent league match against Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC)

The Gators now have a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Carteret for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 22.
