The Mount Pleasant Tigers baseball squad (Mt. Pleasant, NC), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting North Stanly Comets (New London, NC)

With the triumph, North Stanly moves its record to 19-0 on the season. The Comets travel to Great Falls (Great Falls, SC) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 22. The Red Devils come into the contest with a record of 11-8. Great Falls lost 11-6 in their recent league contest against Lewisville (Richburg, SC)

The Tigers now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carson for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 23.
