In Thursday's league test, the Liberty Red Devils (Liberty, SC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC), by a tally of 21-8.

Next, the Red Devils clash with the Chesnee Eagles (Chesnee, SC) in a AA Region 1 test, on Tuesday, April 22. Liberty will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 12-8 record after their 4-0 league win over Landrum (Landrum, SC).

The Bengal (5-13) will now prepare for their test against Emerald (Greenwood, SC). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 2-9 record. In their last test, Emerald was routed by Westside (Anderson, SC), 19-0, in a league test.
