Ohio High School Softball - Edgewood held off by St. Ursula Academy
April 20, 2024: Trenton, OH 45067 The St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs got by the host Edgewood Cougars softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Mercy McAuley Wolves (Cincinnati, OH) in a Girls Greater Catholic challenge, on Monday, April 22. St. Ursula Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wolves go into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 21-2 non-league win over Bishop Fenwick (Franklin, OH).
The Cougars (3-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley View (Germantown, OH). The Spartans go into the non-league challenge with a 4-14 record. In their last challenge, Valley View was nudged by Waynesville (Waynesville, OH), 17-0, in a league challenge.
