Texas High School Baseball - Sam Houston loses to Jefferson
April 21, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78220 The Jefferson Mustangs baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Sam Houston Hurricanes to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs (7-13) will now prepare for their match against Edison (San Antonio, TX). The Golden Bears go into the 5A Region IV District 27 match with a 9-13 record. In their last match, Edison was overwhelmed by Somerset (Somerset, TX), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Hurricanes (0-22) will now prepare for their match against Lanier (San Antonio, TX). The Voks go into the 5A Region IV District 27 match with a 4-18 record. In their last match, Lanier was overwhelmed by Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX), 10-0, in a league match.
