In Monday's non-league game, the host Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers baseball team scored a close 5-3 victory over the North Brunswick Scorpions.

The Lancers (16-8) will now prepare for their game against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen enter the non-league game with a 15-5 record. In their last game, Cherryville held off South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 7-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Scorpions face the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls (Norwood, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 22. North Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record.
