New York High School Softball - La Salle Institute topped by Troy
April 21, 2025: Troy, NY 12180 Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), 13-0 in a league game.
With the triumph, Troy upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Flying Horses host Cohoes (Cohoes, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 2 Colonial game on Wednesday, April 23. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 3-3. Cohoes won 4-0 in their recent league game against Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY)
The Cadets now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Catholic Central for a Section 2 Colonial game on Wednesday, April 23. La Salle Institute will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk (Ravena, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-2.
