Ohio High School Softball - Elmwood bounces Riverdale
April 22, 2024: Mt. Blanchard, OH 45867 The Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH) softball routed the host Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH), 16-6 in Monday's league bout.
The Royals (5-7) will now prepare for their bout against Van Buren (Van Buren, OH). The Black Knights go into the Blanchard Valley bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Van Buren toppled Arlington (Arlington, OH), 11-0, in a league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty-Benton for a Blanchard Valley bout on Wednesday, April 24. Riverdale will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
