Colorado High School Lacrosse - Fruita Monument overwhelms Crested Butte
April 22, 2025: Crested Butte, CO 81224 The Fruita Monument Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 15 points and limited the host Crested Butte Titans to 5 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Montrose for a 4A Mountain challenge on Wednesday, April 23. Fruita Monument will clash with a Red Hawks squad coming off a 15-5 league loss to Fruita Monument (Fruita, CO). The Red Hawks record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Crested Butte falls to 3-9 on the year. The Titans travel to Telluride (Telluride, CO) to clash with the Miners in a 4A Mountain challenge on Thursday, April 24. The Miners go into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Telluride lost 15-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Aspen (Aspen, CO)
