In Tuesday's league test, the New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA) lacrosse team overwhelmed the visiting Veritas School Lions (Richmond, VA), by a count of 13-5.

Next up, the Gryphons battle the Rockingham MudDogs (Weyers Cave, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 29. New Covenant will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The MudDogs enter the test with a 10-2 record after their 18-6 non-league win over Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV).

The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 5-2 record.
