King Academy Knights (Batesburg, SC) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Wardlaw Academy Patriots (Johnston, SC), 16-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, King Academy upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Knights host Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC) to play the Hawks in a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. The Hawks enter the game with a record of 1-7.

The Patriots now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson Davis Academy for a non-league game on Monday, April 28.
