In Wednesday's non-league test, the Allegany Campers (Cumberland, MD) softball squad overwhelmed the host Somerset Eagles (Somerset, PA), by a count of 9-3.

Next, the Campers meet the Southern Rams (Oakland, MD) in a Western Maryland test, on Thursday, April 24. Allegany will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 8-5 league loss to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).

The Eagles (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Trojans go into the Laurel Highlands 1 test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Greater Johnstown was routed by Central (Martinsburg, PA), 16-0, in a league test.
