April 24, 2023: York, ME 03909 York Wildcats (York, ME) boosters exited the stadium content Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME), 10-7 in a non-league battle.
The Wildcats now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Windham for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 29. York will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 15-8 non-league win over Noble (Berwick, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
In their next game, the Flyers clash with the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a Class C battle, on Friday, April 28. Waynflete will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 2-2 record after their 11-8 league loss to Wells (Wells, ME).
