April 24, 2024: Glade Spring, VA 24340 The Eastside Spartans softball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Patrick Henry Rebels to 0 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Eastside improves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to clash with the Pioneers in a Cumberland game on Friday, April 26. The Pioneers come into the game with a record of 0-6. Thomas Walker lost 13-0 in their recent league game against Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA)
In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA) in a Hogoheegee game, on Thursday, April 25. Patrick Henry will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 2-4 record after their 9-0 league win over Northwood (Saltville, VA).
