April 24, 2025: Springfield, VA 22152 The West Springfield Spartans soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Woodson Cavaliers to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Spartans now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Westfield for a non-league bout on Wednesday, April 30.
With the loss, Woodson moves to 3-4 on the year. The Cavaliers host Lake Braddock (Burke, VA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, May 2. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
