In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Chicago Mt. Carmel Caravan lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-6 triumph over the Oak Forest Bengals.

The Caravan (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Cadets go into the Chicago Catholic - Blue challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Marmion was overwhelmed by Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL), 10-5, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bengals clash with the Dunlap Eagles (Dunlap, IL) in a South Suburban challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Oak Forest will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 15-5 league loss to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL).
