In Thursday's non-league match, the host Faith Baptist Contenders softball team scored a tight 11-6 win over the Bishop Diego Cardinals.

The Contenders (7-5) will now prepare for their match against South Pasadena (South Pasadena, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league match with a 10-6 record. In their last match, South Pasadena nipped San Marino (San Marino, CA), 7-5, in a league match.
