Carlisle Thundering Herd (Carlisle, PA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Palmyra Cougars (Palmyra, PA), 15-11 in a league game.

With the triumph, Carlisle upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Thundering Herd host Red Land (Lewisberry, PA) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 11-3. Red Land won 18-3 in their recent non-league game against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA)

The Cougars now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Lower Dauphin for a Mid-Penn - Keystone game on Monday, April 28. Palmyra will play a Falcons squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Donegal (Mt. Joy, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 9-5.
