In Thursday's league match, the visiting La Joya Community Fighting Lobos softball team scored a nice 20-8 win over the Washington Rams.

The Fighting Lobos (16-9) will now prepare for their match against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ). The Thunderbirds come into the non-league match with a 14-10 record. In their last match, Mohave notched a victory over Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ), 13-2, in a league match.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 25. Washington will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Stampede come into the match with a 14-6 record after their 9-5 league win over Carl Hayden Community (Phoenix, AZ).
