April 25, 2025: Falls Village, CT 06031 The Granby Memorial Bears (Granby, CT) softball routed the host Housatonic-Lakeview Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT), 12-5 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockville for a North Central Connecticut outing on Monday, April 28. Granby Memorial will encounter a Rams team coming off a 17-5 league loss to Bolton (Bolton, CT). The Rams record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, Housatonic-Lakeview moves to 0-1 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Dover (Dover Plains, NY) to encounter the Dragons in a non-league outing on Wednesday, April 30. The Dragons come into the outing with a record of 1-3. Dover won 15-3 in their recent league outing against Millbrook (Millbrook, NY)
