Virginia High School Lacrosse - Fairfax overwhelms Wakefield School
April 26, 2025: The Plains, VA 20198 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) and the host Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), witnessed Fairfax's lacrosse squad overcome Wakefield School by a count of 14-7.
The Lions (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wakefield (Arlington, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Wakefield was overwhelmed by Langley (McLean, VA), 22-2, in a league contest.
Next, the Fighting Owls meet the Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) in a VISAA Division 2 contest, on Wednesday, April 30. Wakefield School will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 16-4 league win over Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA).
