Wisconsin High School Softball - Southern Door holds off Seymour
April 27, 2023: Brussels, WI 54204 Southern Door Eagles (Brussels, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Seymour Thunder (Seymour, WI), 11-9 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Peshtigo for a Packerland challenge on Saturday, April 29. Southern Door will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Seymour falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Thunder host Chilton (Chilton, WI) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Chilton won 8-0 in their recent league challenge against Valders (Valders, WI)
