North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Sun Valley drops to Weddington

Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) followers exited the stadium satisfied Monday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC), 18-4 in a league game.

With the victory, Weddington advances its record to 9-3 on the season. The Warriors host Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 11-7. Charlotte Catholic won 17-12 in their recent non-league game against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)

The Spartans now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butler for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 30. Sun Valley will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 16-2 league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-10.
