The Monache Marauders baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting El Diamante Miners to 3 in the Marauders league win on Tuesday.

The Marauders now hold a 16-7 record. They take the field next when they host Redwood for a East Yosemite test on Thursday, May 1. Monache will play a Rangers team coming off a 11-4 league win over Porterville (Porterville, CA). The Rangers record now stands at 16-7.

With the defeat, El Diamante drops to 9-13 on the year. The Miners travel to Mt. Whitney (Visalia, CA) to play the Pioneers in a East Yosemite test on Thursday, May 1. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 5-19. Mt. Whitney won 3-2 in their recent league test against Golden West (Visalia, CA)
