Colorado High School Soccer - Air Academy nudges Cheyenne Mountain
April 29, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80906 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) and the host Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Air Academy's soccer squad hold off Cheyenne Mountain by a score of 1-0.
The Kadets (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Evergreen (Evergreen, CO). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Evergreen tipped Conifer (Conifer, CO), 7-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Red-Tailed Hawks confront the Doherty Spartans (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league battle, on Friday, May 2. Cheyenne Mountain will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 4-10 record after their 2-1 league win over Vista Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO).
